Replace the ceramic hob

    To replace the ceramic hob

    * Make use of rubber gloves when handling rough stove. It will give you a better grip and easier to lift.
    * First, you may want to clean the stove before lifting to avoid the debris falling on you.
    * Do not tighten the clamps or nuts from the top of the tiled stove again too - can crack.
    * If the cooktop does not work after installation, check the wiring.
    * To remove old ceramic plate, wrap it in an old quilt or towel, put it in a large trash bag and tap with a hammer to break into small pieces (not powder).
    * Double check the wiring of the ceramic hob does not heat after new replacement.

Replacing the tiled stove is not as complicated as it should be. If all the above steps are followed correctly, should not take more than 15 to 20 minutes to replace a tiled stove.

SEQUIN SUNDAY

Thanks to the lovely Carolyn behind the blog Rich Girls, I discovered Jessica Stein's blog, Tuula, where she shows off her fantastic style (I know, I must have been living in a cave for not learning about it sooner!)
I have lost count of how many times I have expressed my love towards sequins, but who can help it when it can look this amazing.
Teaming a sequin skirt with an oversized knit is the perfect laidback, but classy look.
And sequin pants worn with heels, is a great alternative for the Christmas season.

SO COOL, SO CHIC

These are two of the outfits that I have fallen in love with lately.
The first outfit is very pretty, but yet edgy and cool. Those wedges are amazing.
The second outfit has that laidback, but elegant touch. The ballerina flats and the Chanel bag give off that perfect Parisian look.

The lovely Sabrina behind the blog afterDRK has such great style.
I really love it when she wears very minimalistic outfits where she plays around with mixing different materials.
The combination of the leather pants and the fuzzy jumper is so wonderful.

In some way, these images make me think of Christmas time; spending lots of time with family, with the cold snow outside and a warm fireplace inside, lovely food and drink, while all the time dressing very cozy chic.
Can't wait for the Christmas holiday to come.

WOOL, LEATHER & BURGUNDY

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I am still buried in books to get through for my exams, which means that I'm at home a lot reading (I have such a comfy sofa!).
I bought this knitted jumper from Zara a couple of months back, and even though I have loved it from the very start, I have discovered these last few weeks (while reading for exams), that it is the perfect, chic cozy jumper.
When it's time for me to enter an exam-free world again, I'm definitely going to wear it like this; with a pair of leather trousers and a burgundy hat.

Such an inspiring editorial from the December issue of Elle France.

SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

When I think about people who I consider as the best dressed, the French and the Swedes instantly come to mind.
I love how many of them manage to keep it simple without looking boring.
    Take this look for example.
Swedish Carolina (behind the blog La Louange et le Blame) proves this perfectly.
All you need to look effortlessly chic is a classic shirt, a pair of well-fitted jeans, some great everyday boots and one piece of jewelry that really stands out + a good dose of self-confidence.
